Grant Norgaard, Superintendent
Mr. Norgaard is starting his 9th year in the District, his 13th year as a superintendent, and his 23rd year as a professional educator. Mr. Norgaard has a Bachelors of Science (BS) in Elementary Education from UNL, a Masters Degree in Educational Administration (M.Ed.) from Wayne State College, and a Specialist's Degree in Educational Administration (Ed.S.) from UNL.
During his time in McCook, the District and its teachers have earned many academic accolades in the state for high student achievement including 7 years of continuous growth in the area of reading. The District also boasts of two buildings that are classified as "Excellent" and two as "Great" by the Department of Education when EBA scores are included.
